OK? Now the boring basic information stuff.
I live in the country by Navarro Mills Lake in Texas. I grew up here until age 15 when we moved to the Dallas area.(Irving, Tx). I currently live in the house that my best friend was raised in and slowly renovating every room. As a single father, I raised my two daughters from ages 8 &10 til they grew up. Brittany, the oldest, has 2 children while Breanna is in her 4th year of college in Oklahoma. I coached girls fast-pitch softball for both girls and we used to spend almost every weekend at some tournament around the D/FW metroplex. Breanna's received a scholorship for the first three years of college but I think she finally got burned out. She has been playing softball at a competitive level since age 8.

I'm too old/mature to go out clubbing (I don't want to be the "creepy old guy" at the club) and I seldom drink these days so I have no idea how to meet someone new. I've been single now since my divorce in 2002. There isn't much of a selection in my area. All the women around here are either really old, married or on crack(literally)! Something about me...

Well they say that no one knows you better than you know yourself. This may have truth in it, but sometimes I find that those that are closest to you can also bring out parts of you that you never had known existed. That they can see the deepest part of you that you unknowingly hide, and bring it to the surface. It's amazing what a little love and trust can do.

So I will try to reach deep down and bring out the qualities that seem so comfortable to me, but at the same time are completely unrealized. I find I can be a stranger sometime. Doesn't everyone?

1) At first greetings, I can be shy, quiet, observant, and a little reserved. I am not the wild attention getter in the middle of the party. Although, sometimes I wish I could be, and possibly could be; I don't think being someone that I am not makes a great impression.

2) Once someone gets to know me, I am comfortable, talkative, and goofy. Goofy being that I like to make people laugh or have a laugh myself. Laughter is something I find takes me away for a moment and makes me relish the fact that there are good times still to be had.

3) I am a deep thinker and a hopeful dreamer. I think about quite a bit of things. One thought could enter my mind and I will let it flow. Sometimes some of my best ideas come from those. As for being a hopeful dreamer, I dare say that I am always dreaming up ways of how to better myself. I have not made the best choices in my life, but with choices come chances. And there is always a second chance somewhere.

4) I am pretty mellow. Laid back is what people would describe me. I can be boring to some I am sure... but everyone has an opinion about something. Including myself. We are human, are we not?

I'm not good at trying to discribe myself but I will try for to do what I can. I want to believe I am at least a decent person I know sometimes I make stupid mistakes or do something wrong but we are humans no one is perfect. I'm sweet, funny, caring, loyal, honest, sarcastic, and a smartass. I have been working on changing a few things being more open and wanting to do new things (it's just no fun doing them alone though). I love to bowl it's something I do at least once a week, shooting pool, hanging out with friends, movies, relaxing, and well I'm open for a lot of things it just depends on what sounds fun at the time. I'm a graduating senior at Bible school. I'm majoring in church ministry with specialisation in youth and student ministry. I am kinda a brainy guy that compensates that braininess with my beard.

I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma named Sallisaw. If you know where its at, God have mercy on your soul. I have always lived there until my college year where I moved to Texas for Bible College. Not sure that was the best decision for me. It kinda warped my ideas of who people are in the negative. But I will say though that overall it has been a positive experience for me. I learned a lot about my self and what I want to do in life.
